Agriculture is the greatet invention of all human history.
It marked the transition from Hunting Gathering to a more
Domesticated way of life, which also included Domestic Animals.

Its true origins remain shrouded in deep mystery and cultures
we have little record of.  What we do know is that humanity
accelerated far beyond anyone's imagination and even such notables
as Malthus, Erhlich and other neigh-bob's of negativity.

Agriculture has never been easy though and not only at the mercy
of the elements, but also at the mercy of the descendants of the
Hunter Gatherers who became the Warriors and Pharoahs of Humanity.

The growth and existance of Cities was an overnight sensation,
and created many classes and new opportunities well fed by rural
productivity.  But, its never been much of a good deal for the
farmers and ranchers, and today is no exeption.  Rural life is hard.

Attempts to write this as a regular format business plan for rural
life, ranching, farming and construction was quite difficult.
These activities, although widespread and apparently successful, 
are actually not very good examples of "Rational Business Practices"
as found in most regular everyday Business Plans.  

Every category of the Business Plan is filled with difficulties,
from Excutive Summary, Management, Markets to Financials
and Bottom Lines.  Nothing looks goood on paper, but most folks 
somehow get by and the majority of rural activities have little 
or no plan.

So what is the secret here?  This is historically the greatest and
most successful endeavor ever and it can't be "calced" out?
Yes, apparently so, although we will attempt this as best we can.

The secret lies in the many intagibles that don't show in the plan.
Agriculture is based on three main things, Faith, Hope & Charity!

Faith in oneself, family, seeds, livestock, nature and especially 
God. Mankind's whole discovery of God may have come about by the 
discovery of Agriculture coupled with certain mystical and 
medical plant discoveries.

Hope in the harvest, the meaning of the seasons, the cycles of 
life and our place in them.  Hope in the future, which we see now 
also in the Commodity Futures Markets.  Hope in building a future 
on one's own piece of land, property ownership and the planting of 
crops, trees and vines.

Charity in the community of like minded peoples, sharing and 
careing for extended families, helping each other get by in hard 
times and fun in the good times.  Saving for a rainy day so to be 
able to help one another.

All these Character Traits and many more than derive from them 
led to an incredible explosion of Humanity worldwide.  

Horses also played a keyrole throughout history, enabling 
utilization of poorer pastures, travel, shipment and transportaion 
and colonization etc.

But still no such thing as a real plan for centuries.  Now we have 
many new tools to try to figure more of this out, great software, 
business plan outlines, accounting procedures, market analysis, GPS,
and many more "scientific" approaches. Hopefully these can be 
appplied in at least a general way, or templates which people can 
use to solve some the difficult planning, construction, 
agricultural, environmental and financial problems they face.

the many aspects needed in these extremeley complex equations, 
clear the path, set a course, and also to see connections between 
the many cultures and ways of life around the world through time 
and space and our connections to nature, each other and God.
