Ag Soils
This is a page dedicated to dirt.
Not just any dirt, but the living soil that sustains life, especially ours.
Agricultural soils are a fragile resource and are being depleated
at a terrible rate. The acreage lost each year in this country alone is
staggering, especially considering how much is known about preventing
and controlling all types of erosion, how much is done trying to stop it
and all the engineering that goes into controlling our surface waters.
Soil erosion may even be the most serious threat to civilization known.
